Celebrate fall during Cheekwood Harvest September 22- October 21st.  Stop by to see the many Scarecrows, created by local artists, invading their Turner Seasons Garden. Check out the Pumpkin House, an 11-foot-tall house filled with pumpkins and gourds. You can stop by the pumpkin patch to select a pumpkin for carving and painting.  Adults can enjoy the festive Beer Garden, with tasty pub fare and beers on tap. Don’t forget about the Halloween Pooch Parade, October 20th at 11 am. You can bring your favorite four-legged friend. Costumed canines and their owners are invited to parade around the gardens for a fun filled morning stroll. Cheekwood is hosting El Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, October 27, 2018 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Each year, Cheekwood brings the traditions of Mexico and Latin America to Nashville with this festival, which includes traditional music and dance, vibrant art, and authentic cuisine. Visitors will learn about the culture of our Latin American neighbors while having fun in the marketplace or strolling the grounds. Cheekwood provides 55 acres that allow guest to walk around and enjoy the season’s changing colors. October would not be nearly as much fun without a visit to Cheekwood.
