So, Covid wrecked your vacation plans and the idea of traveling masked-up through airports and on long-haul flights is not your idea of a good time. Still, you wouldn’t mind getting away, if only for a couple of nights.

If that sounds like you, a staycation just might be in order. And there’s never been a better time for locals to experience Nashville like a tourist.

There are a myriad of dazzling new downtown hotels that are destinations unto themselves. And with occupancy well below forecasts, the deals are astounding. Rooms that typically sell for upwards of $400 per weekend night have been discounted drastically.

CurrentVue has compiled a list of some of the more attractive options. Keep in mind, these are primarily newer properties with outdoor pools, spas and chic dining and bar scenes. There are many other enticing deals as most of the older hotels have undergone recent renovations.

KNOW BEFORE YOUR GO

All properties have implemented “Enhanced Cleaning Procedures” and face coverings are required indoors in all common areas. There may be some limitations, primarily in terms of restaurant hours, dining room capacity, spa services and pool deck seating. But, by and large, the hotels are open for business with great rates and value-added promotions, many directly targeting the local market.
