The Ensworth Tigers pulled away from Knoxville Webb last Friday night, scoring 14 points in the 4th quarter to give them a 17-3 win.

Both teams struggled to score early. Fred Jackson made an 18-yard field goal at the end of the half to give the Tigers a 3-0 lead. Cameron Fowler made a 22-yard field goal for Knox Webb to tie the game up with seven minutes left in the third.

The Tigers were finally able to score a touchdown, as Keyshawn Lawrence took a 34-yard rush to the house to put Ensworth up 10-3. Toleo Malone pushed the Ensworth lead to 14 points.

Ensworth finished with 295 yards rushing, including 131 from Malone and 97 from Lawrence. Cole Kennon, the Tigers quarterback, finished with 40 yards on just three rushes.

Andre Turrentine once again led the Tigers in tackles, as he finished with a total of eight tackles and 1.5 TFLs. Tyler Baron finished with six total tackles and two sacks. Wesley Walker and Gerard Bullock both had an interception for Ensworth.
