The Nashville Predators’ Ford Ice Center, the crown jewel of the glittering $248 million One Bellevue Place retail and entertainment district, held its grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony before a packed crowd Saturday on a brilliant, sun-soaked autumn afternoon.

Preds CEO Sean Henry welcomed the gathering, as did Nashville Mayor John Cooper.

At 90,000 square feet, The Ford Ice Center houses two sheets of ice, meeting facilities, a full service restaurant and a community center. The center is already proving to be wildly successful as the adult league is sold out for the season and 25 tournaments featuring teams from around the nation are on the books.
