Making the Cut: Bellevue Welcomes Two New Businesses

Ribbon cutting has been a popular activity in recent weeks as a pair of businesses has celebrated the grand opening of their new Bellevue locations.

In September, franchisee Morgan Barth held a grand opening ceremony for Premier Martial Arts (PMA) in One Bellevue Place. Bellevue’s newest fitness brand empowers both children and adults with confidence-building martial arts programs. PMA’s curriculum focuses on character development that transcends the importance of self-defense.

The grand opening was delayed by about a year due to the pandemic, but on a bright Thursday afternoon, attendees enjoyed snacks, games and face painting.

On Saturday, October 3 a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the new Joshua Brown Family Pharmacy on Highway 100 at the Shoppes On The Harpeth shopping mall. The family-focused pharmacy strives to provide the type of personalized service that’s associated with an independent business. Specialty services include compounding, the art and science of formulating unique and specific medications that address the patient’s unique situation.

Befitting of the name, Joshua Brown and his family cut the ceremonial ribbon as guests enjoyed picnic fare featuring Blinky’s Offset BBQ and treats from Kona Ice.

The Bellevue Harpeth Chamber of Commerce facilitated the ribbon cutting for both events.
