SECHC Championships Underway at FIC

The South Eastern Collegiate Hockey Conference championship tournament is underway at Ford Ice Center Bellevue. The 8-team, single-elimination format is the culmination of the 2019-20 campaign and features club teams from prominent Southeastern universities.

 

There are four quarterfinal games Friday with the semifinals on Saturday. The championship game is slated for Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.

 

Play began at noon with #1 Arkansas taking on #8 Tennessee.

 

Other opening round games include #2 South Carolina vs. #7 Auburn at 3 p.m., #4 Georgia vs. #4 Georgia Tech at 6 p.m. and #3 Florida Atlantic vs. # 6 Ole Miss at 9 p.m.

 

Semifinal action begins at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

 

An All-Weekend Pass is available for $40 and a Single Day Pass is $15. Children (10 and under), Military and seniors may purchase an All-Weekend Pass for $25 or a Single Day Pass for $10.
