Construction is scheduled to begin in early Spring 2019 for the Red Caboose Park.  The final design and kick-off of this project is scheduled for Sunday, January 6th from 2:00 – 5:00 at the Bellevue Library, 720 Baugh Rd, Nashville, TN 37221. This “Doing and Giving” campaign will provide residents and friends with an opportunity to purchase bricks. These bricks will be used along with the original 500 “commemorative bricks” from the original construction in 1996.

Site preparation and playground framing are scheduled for April 26th-28th by Metro Parks and Great Southern Recreation, with community participation encouraged. Community participation will include landscaping, planting, painting of the comfort station, stage and gazebo and construction of the equipment. Contractors will finish the construction and addition of fencing and rubber surfacing.

The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for June 1st 2019.

Bellevue Council Representatives Sheri Weiner, Dave Rosenberg and Angie Henderson encourage participation at the January 6th meeting. Let’s support our community and “Enjoy the ‘New’ ‘Vue.”
