Looking to lend a hand this holiday season but not sure where to start?
Each Christmas, volunteers with Wreaths Across America work together to place wreaths at the graves of our veterans. The Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on McCrory Lane needs your help. There are more than 11,000 graves and Wreaths Across America has only collected 3,000 wreaths.
There is an urgent need for donations to make sure veterans are remembered and honored this year.
Sponsorship ensures that a wreath is hand-crafted of all-American balsam and hand-tied with a red velvet bow here in Columbia Falls, Maine. It is sent to participating locations, where a volunteer will place it on the marker of a fallen hero. That volunteer will then “say their name” to ensure that the legacy of duty, service, and sacrifice of that veteran is never forgotten. You have the opportunity to join a grateful nation in saying “thank you” to our veterans.
